Britská kapela Depeche Mode vydá 6. júna album remixov s názvom Remixes 2: 81-11, ktorý bude pokračovaním kompilácie Remixes 81-04 (2004). Nahrávka vyjde v klasickej jednodiskovej ale aj v trojdiskovej verzii. Medzi interpretmi, ktorí jednotlivé skladby Depeche Mode zremixovali, sú napríklad Unkle, Peter Bjorn and John, Eric Prydz, Röyksopp alebo Dan The Automator.

Depeche Mode, ktorí v súčasnosti pôsobia v zložení Dave Gahan, Martin Gore a Andy Fletcher, predali od svojho vzniku v roku 1980 vyše 100 miliónov albumov a singlov po celom svete. Medzi ich najznámejšie skladby patria napríklad Just Can't Get Enough, People Are People, Personal Jesus, Enjoy the Silence, I Feel You či Condemnation. Na svojom konte majú už dvanásť štúdiových albumov, zatiaľ posledný s názvom Sounds of the Universe vyšiel v roku 2009.
