i used to not like this song cuz the first time i heard it i was riding in my friends car. both of us were his and he was driving super fast down this one road. i thought the song was talking to me during "what the fuck just happened" and "what the hell were you thinking". i started flipping out.
but now i like it knowing it wasnt talking to me lol

Truly one of the best songs by bfmv the lyrics are amazing I think it means that a guy tries to Break up with his gf brutally at first but then tries to soothe her a bit. Anyways fucking awesome song. Can't wait for fever to come out

i love this song and matt tuck is like one of the best songwriters he got me into songwriting and his voice is awesome the verse when it was like robot kinda it was so beast and the way he sings an bullet for my valentine is acctually the reason why i'm in music into songwriting and muic padge got me into guitar and when i write music and play with my band they say we sound like a bfmv with our own music and lyrics so the band of bfmv padge matt jay and moose i thank you guys for being so great in music you guys got me into it:)

This has to be one of my favorite Bullet For My Valentine songs, along with Waking the Demon, Tears Don't Fall, and Last to Know. Every time I hear it...I think of a past relationship I had, She said she was in love with me, I wasn't in love with her, and she had REALLY low self esteem.... And I got sick of her always saying "Do you hate me yet?"... But enough of my ranting, Amazing song, great lyrics,amazing band...

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this yet. "Watching Us Die Tonight" isn't a bad song at all.
I'm not that much of a BFMV fan, but there are songs by them that I seriously love, and I would say this is one of them.
Throughout the verses of the song, Matt's voice was like so harsh, so hard, almost robotic. To me it portrays how one feels angry after being treated badly or used.
But I love the part where he sings "everything will be alright". The way his voice was, you know, it was just so comforting and reassuring, telling you it's alright, it's okay...and the line "I'm watching us die tonight", it sounds as if he was succumbing to this painful truth, realizing that "we're both gonna die tonight, and there's no way we can get out of it". I can hardly explain how I feel when I listen to his voice. It's amazing how him and BFMV impresses me almost everytime I listen to their songs, sometimes even more than my own fave band, Linkin Park, does. I love their name too - Bullet For My Valentine. :D It's so unique and tasteful.
I suppose I'm just glad there is this thing on earth called Bullet For My Valentine who happened to have reached out and touched me not in a way anyone have done before.
