Out Of Business

Bigger selections and better deals
Lower prices and outright steals
Longer hours and more convenience
You'll save dollars not just cents

You know that you want it
You were told on TV
It's bigger, it's faster
You'll get a second for free
Here's no need to worry
You can put it on your card
No interest for two years
If your ratings are unmarred
Go next door and mow down the old guy
That likes you and tries to sell you real fries
Then throw a firebomb into the hardware store
And slash the throat of the shop's proprietor
Drive their delivery truck
into their fruit stands
Take the vendors hostage
Then break their hands
Round up the three kids
And burn all their clothes
They won't need food
With their mouths duct taped closed

Now grab the old lady
Where you used to buy your smokes
Put her to work on the corner
Cos now she is broke
Her daughter's on the table
Here's a bottle for dad
Get the sons wired on crack
They'll forget what they had
Then smash all the windows
And loot the whole street
Down all the power lines
And turn off the heat
Redirect the sewage
So it comes out the kitchen taps
Knock down the buildings
And sell what's left for scrap

Pass them the want ads
So they can be trained for new jobs
They can work beside you
In a brainless uniformed mob
The once independent
Are now passed around as wage slaves
Learning to be grateful
To be working for minimum wage
And you caused it all to happen
By thinking only convenience and cash
There's no turning it back
Now big business has the last laugh

Face it because
One way or another
Soon you'll all be
Working for them
Cos you bought into this
Whole stinking trip
Without ever thinking
How it would end
