Adrenaline

I am on fire.
With this red wall a-blazing,
The silver and the smoke.

A subtle gun fire.
In the distance is a sound,
In the cemetery fields.

And I wanted to fall,
Long before this feeling came,
But it's saved me on it's own.

Adrenaline burns,
In the marrow of my bones,
In this suited lightweight skin.

Time and lavender sears.
And fills the air around,
I am anxious just to breathe it in.

Fine weather all around.
Cycles in my veins,
I'm this sympathetic stranger.

And I wanted to fall,
Long before this feeling came,
But it's saved me on it's own.

Adrenaline burns,
In the marrow of my bones,
In this suited lightweight skin.
