Your cheatin' heart,
Will make you weep,
You'll cry and cry,
And try to sleep,
But sleep won't come,
The whole night through,
Your cheatin heart, will tell on you...
When tears come down,
Like falling rain,
You'll toss around,
And call my name,
You'll walk the floor,
The way I do,
Your cheatin' heart, will tell on you...
Your cheatin' heart,
Will pine some day,
And crave the love,
You threw away,
The time will come,
When you'll be blue,
Your cheatin' heart, will tell on you...
When tears come down,
Like falling rain,
You'll toss around,
And call my name,
You'll walk the floor,
The way I do,
Your cheatin' heart, will tell on you...

The OLD Country music | Reviewer: Berian Barnes | 10/14/11
I'm 75 years old and English. I suppose my first introduction to "cowboy music" was Roy Rogers films. Guitars were seldom heard in England, but when I heard a guitar played with a steel rod I was hooked. I got to hear singers like Web Pierce in my RAF days. He and his contempories were just so easy to listen to. Country music today, sadly, has merged into pop.
yes, Hank Williams IS a legend | Reviewer: Catiie | 6/5/11
its hard to believe that, I, am 14 and Hank is probably one of the best singers in old country. If theres one song that i would listen to all of the time, it would probably be "Hey Good Lookin'." this is the type of music that my mamaw Conner grew up on, so its amazing that a 14 yr. old 2 generations down, is still listenin to Hank.
"Small Town Tavern Sounds" | Reviewer: M.E. | 5/7/11
I took my old guitar out of it's case and the music "Your Cheatin Heart" came to me. I somehow forgot the exact lyrics so I had to do a quick google search. Now I am reflecting back alittle.
I'm 57 1/2 :) youngest of 5 kids. Son of a good mother and a rotten B*sd* of a drunk old man. I grew up hearing Hank Williams and other classics on that juke box in a tavern. YEP, head high to a bar stool, killing time looking at a shuffle board, sawdust, cigarette butts, juke boxes etc.. it was always a tavern somewhere or the sidewalk in front of the tavern (cig butts, chewin gum, ants, cracks in the cement and that music).
I remember summer nights at Grandmothers home in a small town hearing that sweet juke box music, hoots and hollers and sound of the screen door slamming as they came and went to the small town tavern on the summer nights.
Man that was Country Music USA in those days and somehow life was still good for a barefoot kid in Iowa if he was near the river and had a fishing line of any kind wow he had it made. Don't forget the sand burrs.
This country music is serious nostalgia.
Life has sure changed here in the U.S.A. and it sure does go fast.
Alittle reflecting on the past is ok but can't dwell on it.
God Bless the U.S.A.

Is always a tortured mind.
I'm 18, and have my dad to thank for exposing me to Hank Williams and Jimmie Rodgers, I'm glad that even though most people my age have no idea who they are, at least I do. Much love and respect.
It don't get any better than "HANK" | Reviewer: Tom | 2/6/08
I'm 60 years old and grew up on Hank Williams songs. When my old aunt taught me to play, Hank is what she taught me. This was the first song of many we played and I still play today. Thanks Hank Williams for what you did for country music.
I use to listen to KFDI in Wichita Kans. the DJ (Ol' Mike) always said:(when country wasn't so popular) Save your Hanks Williams records folks, because country music will rise again.
