Here she comes let the day begin,
I used to say as she came into my room,
Now I'll never be the same I know,
Lonely walls surround, no where to go.

We used to talk in the evening light,
We used to walk in the morning shining brightly,
Now I see the sun I shade my face,
Hating this reminder of my place, everyday.

I walk the pathway that we shared,
I talk to strangers,
Ever hoping they will say,
She's here today.

Now I refrain from the faintest hope,
She still remains in my lifetime forever,
If she should ever change her mind,
I'll always love her and be so kind, everyday.
