Biografia:

Does It Offend You, Yeah? was formed in Reading, UK in 2007 and released their first album in Spring 2008. They were the ninth most listened to new band of 2008 on last.fm [1] They also made it onto the best alternative music list of 2008 on iTunes USA, along with Foals, MGMT and Santogold. Does It Offend You, Yeah? have been compared by some to dance-oriented acts like Daft Punk. Justice and Digitalism. NME compares them to bands like Muse due to their heavier, more "live" sound. The group is known for their raucous live shows, which often end in stage diving and broken instruments. Lead singer James Rushent co-produced The Prodigy's "Invaders Must Die" and their top ten hit " Omen". They have remixed songs for acts such as Muse, White Stripes and Bloc Party. The band's records are written, performed and produced by James Rushent, Rob Bloomfield and Dan Coop. In 2008 they were joined on stage by guitarist Morgan Quaintance. In April 2009 the band announced that they have a new live line up. The band were joined on their debut album by Death From Above 1979 vocalist Sebastien Grainger who performed the lead vocals on "Let's Make Out". The band has appeared live on US television on shows such as The Jimmy Kimmel and Carson Daly and on British television programmes such as BBC's Sound and Channel 4's Transmission. The band appeared alongside artists such as Pharrell Williams, Santogold, Julian Casablancas, MGMT and Karen O for Converse as part of The Converse Century Celebration advertising campaign. The band are currently recording their follow-up to 2008's You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into, and have been posting regular updates via their Twitter Account. On March 1st 2009 the band announced the album's imminent completion, stating that "we are now into the last week of tracking. mixing the week after, then, emm, its all over. we are done."
