Perfect for Monday morning radio? | Reviewer: Patrick | 6/21/2005

I know Elvis will never be a radio darling as he is too sophisticated for mass market tastes. However, I always imagined doing a Monday morning wake up radio show using his Welcome to the Working Week, David Byrne's - Not gonna work here any more off of Uh-Oh (sorry if I butchered the title), They Might Be Giants' - Minimum Wage and others. Just seemed to be a perfect tongue-in-cheek way to start off the week.

I consider this and the other referenced songs to be unrecognized classics.
