Yo Mister was written by Prince but was sung Patti Labelle. She sings the song so well. The lyrics are well written and the music is very well arranged. I saw Patti perform this song at the Apollo in the 80's and I cried. The song is about a stuborn and hurt father with a daughter that he can't control and the trials that they go thorugh. I love the song because it is a real example of situations that occur in the world. At the end of the song Patti keeps saying "How's your daughter tonught?" as if she is talking to you.
