NOTE: This is only the main guitar part played by Thom Yorke.
Jonny Greenwood's part is played up an octave (courtesy of a capo),
and should be available from most other "Street Spirit" tabs. It is
basically a variant, less-intricate picking of the same chord shapes
of the main guitar part. I have no idea what Ed O'Brien does during
this song.

Street Spirit is based almost entirely upon three base chords
-- Am, Em and C. They are spiced up with ornamentations, and are played as follows:

If you have a decent ear and an intelligent mind, you should be able to
figure out when they are played and for what duration :) The only
change occurs in the final segment, beginning with the lyrics: "Immerse
your soul in love." In this part, the C is replaced with a C/G, and the
E minor becomes an E major. They are played as follows:

And that's it! Simple, yet mesmerising song. The only part that will be a stumble
is getting the E riff right, which requires a different fingering from the rest.
I play it with my index finger planted on the G-string, using my pinky and middle
finger to do the descending notes on the B-string. Finally, the middle finger moves
at the end to the D-string to get that E on the second fret. Sounds complicated,
but with practice, you'll get it. Enjoy!

Its easy to play and to skip your fingers. Play it like this: put your 2nd and 3rd fingers on the second riff, on strings 3 and 4. And when u play it just put and remove your 1st and 4th fingers. very easy to play. like the whole song.

Same as the 1st part except this time put just your 2nd finger on the 4th string, on the second riff. And, again, just put and remove your 4th and 1st fingers. Make sure that the 6th string is well heard thru all this part.

This is is a bit harder but still very simple to play. This time put your 2nd finger on the 4th string like at part 2, and put your 3rd finger on the fifth string on the third riff. Again, put and remove only the 1st and the 4th finger.

OK, thats the e-asy part of the song.
When Thom sings "Cracked eggs dead birds..." there are 3 (!) guitars playing... The first one is the one above, and from the other two I created a part for just one guitar, not too easy tho.
It goes like this:

PART I: This one is an Am chord: (play it twice). Just like in the lyrics, it played from "Cracked eggs..." to "...it's beady eyes"

ok, that one will give your fingers some training, and will prepare them to the 4th part (u don't wanna know about it...). Here's how u play it: first, u must cover the 1st, 2nd and 3rd strings with your 1st finger on the fifth riff. The fingers that move here are the 3rd and the 4th fingers wich should be placed on the 7th and 8th riffs (6th string).

PART II: this one is an Em chord: (play twice). Again, just like its in the lyrics, from "All those things..." to "..swallow whole"

this part starts like the first one but have other, great end. Again, cover the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, like at the 1st part, except at the end. An easy part actualy.



PART IV: ohoh. played twice. not for beginners. Not for people with weak heart... C and Em chords. Played when Thom sings "and fade...".

well... thats the hardest part of the song.
cover with you 1st finger all the strings on the 8th riff, (it hurt, it hurts, it will hurt...). Then put your 2nd finger on the 3rd string on the 9th riff. And your 4th finger- on the 2nd string on the 12th riff, (auch).
Thats the C chord. The Em chord is much easier.
After those 4 parts Jonny starting repeating them.
